Guided and Self-Guided Tours
U.S. Motorcycle Touring can help you enjoy the ride of a lifetime. Whether you're interested in Southern California (our local stomping ground), or the Southwestern states, or touring the U.S., we'll plan a tour that's just right for you. We offer full-service guided tours, complete with a professional tour guide, bike rentals (if needed) and accommodations, as well as unique self-guided tours.
Pack Light
We ride light... U.S. Motorcycle Touring does not transport luggage, at this time. So please pack accordingly. Guides generally use their tour packs and saddlebags to carry their own gear and emergency equipment, and cannot accommodate your gear as well.
If you're renting a tour bike through U.S. Motorcycle Touring, you can expect a Harley Davidson Electra Glide Ultra, or similar model. Those models generally have two saddlebags and a tour pack. Bikes are subject to availability, dependent on your tour dates and length. Please let us know if you'll be bringing your own helmet.
May we suggest you pack the following for a typical weekend (2-3 day) tour:- Two to three changes of clothes
- Toiletries
- Hat
- Sunglasses, and clear goggles or glasses for dusk/night riding
- Sunscreen
- Helmet
- Riding Gloves
- Rain Gear (Tours cover 100s of miles; the weather can vary widely (and wildly) along the way. Fireman's Motto: Come Prepared.)
Taking a camping tour? You'll also need to pack a tent and sleeping bag. Let us know if you need gear rentals and we can set that up. We'll also reserve the camp sites.
